Wow! We moved to the area from MPLS which I think has a very big beer scene just about on every corner. We are craft beer drinkers and have really been missing the beer vibe we are used to and finally decided to check this place out. Now, bring from Mpls we weren’t sure if Sanford Nc would have the beer scene we are used to and we were surprised they did!!! This place was decorated AWESOME, an industrial vibe and of course, had great beer. The strawberry ale was prob in our top 5 beers we’ve had at a brewery which is saying a lot since we have been to a ton LOL, so good!!! Will for sure be back!!

This place is so good I’m kinda of sad to give it a good review because people will come here. Especially with how much growth is happening in Sanford. But they also deserve to have all the success in the. World because they put their heart into this place. It’s such a gem tho. The staff is amazing. The beer is pretty good. The food trucks are cool. I’ll be honest some can be a bit of a hit or miss but that’s not Huggers fault. You are more than welcome to bring your own food. I always like to hit up my favorite food place and then sit at the bar. Drink my beer, eat my food, and chitchat. Or if you just want to vibe in the corner and watch a movie you can too. You may bring your kids. In my opinion not reflected by this establishment at all, please don’t let them just run around to where they are going out by the main entrance. Or don’t let them run behind the bar. Other than that they have plenty of board games and ride on toys for the kids. They can also toss around some cornhole. There are different events all the time. Beer yoga, Latin night (gets littttt in there), line dancing, paint n sips, trivia, and the list goes on. Find them on social media to stay up to date on the food trucks, beer, and events. I collect growlers. So far havnt found one they won’t fill. To be fair the biggest one I have is 64oz. They will tell you if something doesn’t keep will in a growler. Like I wanted to get a nitro brew once and they said it doesn’t keep well so they wouldn’t be able to sell it. Which I respect. They don’t want their name attached to bad beer. My mother is originally from Germany. I am as well. So being able to have a public space that’s chill, respectable, good food, and good beer is important. This place hits the mark. Got the German mom stamp of approval.

First time here was for their firs BBQ festival! I had a good time! There was live music and of course beer! Lol We got to taste and judge bbq from all over, but my favorite was the banana pudding interpretations!!! WOW! There were 3 bakers that made : banana pudding cheesecake, cake, and a cookie. Everything was delicious but that cookie!!! My my my- SO GOOD!!! This was an awesome festival and we look forward to the next one!!!!

Good selection of well make Belgian beers and they claim to always have 2 IPA's on tap. Good service and prices are not bad. Got a 4 beer flight and one pint for about $18 so not bad prices for high octane beers. I would give this place 5 stars if there at least some food before the trucks show up at 5 PM. I was starving and had little options.
